Natural Pet Creations Antimicrobial Spray cleanses and disinfects skin from a wide range of bacteria and other microorganisms. This product contains aloe vera to help sooth irritated skin and Therapeutic grade essential oils: Melaleuca, Peppermint and Thyme.
Why add Chlorhexidine gluconate? This product is an alternative for cats, dogs and horses that do need this type of therapy but they react to commercial products. Most of the time this reactions are due to the chemicals ingredients of the shampoo base and not necessarily the antimicrobial ingredient in this case the Chlorexidine gluconate. Commercial pet products can contain many chemicals to provide the desire product effect by adding artificial ingredients and parabens or germicides that ultimately irritate pets with sensitive skin. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is an antimicrobial that covers a very wide spectrum of bacterias and is commonly used in human and veterinary medicine.
While Chlorhexidine gluconate is very effective on its own, we have added the combination Melaleuca, Peppermint and Thyme to provide a holistic effect while adding protection against fungal infections.
Antimicrobial Spray 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate
2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Aloe Barbadensis, Therapeuctic grade essential oils: Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree), Mentha piperita (Peppermint), Thymus vulgaris (Thyme).
Apply directly to the affected area 2-3 times per day or as directed by your veterinarian. Avoid contact with eyes and nose. Do not apply inside ears or gums.
If an allergice reaction occur, discontinue immediately and seek veterinary care.
